It all started with 100 boxes in 2014.
When one of our friends, Zoe, asked if Experience Philippines would want to help out in an outreach program of giving away shoeboxes full of school supplies for kids in Muntinlupa, we all unanimously agreed to be part of this awesome project. We just could not pass up this opportunity to help out. From personal calls, messages to friends and family, we managed to pack around 100 shoeboxes or so. And from that time on, we have continued to help in the #MyDreamInAShoeBox campaign.
That tradition continued on 2015 where we packed around 1000 boxes in 36 hours straight. This year, we are happy to have packed around 2,000 ++ shoeboxes full of school supplies from generous families, friends and road trippers of the ever growing Experience Philippines family.
These were given to different communities around Metro Manila, Pangasinan and Davao. Here are some of the snapshots of our great time planing, collecting, wrapping, and distributing the work of love shoeboxes.
