You Know, Life is Wonderful
In this world, there are no completely identical lives existing. There could be similarities between one person and another but they’re never exactly alike. This alone makes our lives appear wonderful, not because they’re unique or full of happiness, greatness and all the good stuff but because it is never without a surprise.

Whether it’s a highway or a rollercoaster, even if you have a map, a GPS, or know what the ride looks like, you’ll never really know what or how things will happen. While life can be predictable, it’s honestly and mostly unpredictable. If you haven’t figured that out yet, trust me, it is.
I used to love making plans and a lot of back-ups in case the first one doesn’t work. But life didn’t just throw rocks at me, at some point, it made my whole world come crashing down on me. That’s when I realised that I wasn’t planning and predicting my life; I was making up excuses and detours to runaway from it. And, reality taught me (in the most gruesome ways) that no matter how many plans you make, when life starts to unfold, it won’t always go your way. Lucky if it does, but what if doesn’t? What would you do? Will you weep and mope? Go insane? Shrug it off and just try again?
Life happens, regardless of the season
Confronted by a moment of truth like that, I couldn’t believe it and I didn’t want to accept it. So, I started questioning everything and in the end, I never found any sensible answer to anything until I came across this quote:
It still did not answer any of my questions but, it made me feel at ease because I hated being in the ditch I got stuck in. You know, I’ve read dozens of quotes and as inspiring as they were, they never brought a sense of relief into my life. But this one made it feel like it’s okay to be uncool today even if you were awesome yesterday; it’s okay to be a mess right now even if you looked so put together last night; it’s okay to feel crappy even when you think you shouldn’t; it’s okay to stop, get stuck, and be lost even when everybody else is moving forward.
With so much time on our hands now, go ahead and think about life. If you feel lost or like nothing’s making sense, read this quote over and over. Maybe you can even print it out and post it where you can always see it. Look at it until you feel that it’s okay to be wherever you are in your life right now.

Life is Wonderful
Whatever phase or season you are in, even if it’s not where you think you should be, don’t hate it too much. You should appreciate it because it could be teaching, preparing, or leading you to where you should be or who you’re meant to be. As you reach the end of every season, you’ll realise that everything you’ve experienced so far will start making sense.
They happened because you needed them to become who you are. They entered your life to make you leave behind what’s destroying you. They existed so you will know how to enjoy this unending highway full of twists, turns and drops that are always taking you by surprise. It may be predictable but definitely unpredictable; this is why life is wonderful.
